Support Engineers

ElysianNxt is looking for Support Engineers to join our growing APAC development team in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In this role, you will develop new functionalities within our software products and contribute ideas for optimization and innovation throughout the entire development process. You will work closely with application architects, development leads, business analysts, quality assurance analysts, and onshore & offshore consultants to effectively plan, design, develop and unit test software in a fast paced, young and agile environment.
Our customer base is entirely made up of Financial Institutions. You will be joining a team that is focused on providing Financial Institutions with software solutions in the Finance and Risk area. Our expert team consists of an ideal mix of in-depth functional knowledge and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high quality, high performance software applications using the latest technologies, innovations and software best practices
Analyze product requirements and design solutions according to company standards and techniques
Define test scenarios, implement automated test cases, perform non-regression analysis, analyze test results to validate new functionalities in close collaboration with the other team members
Contribute to maintain the application architecture consistency as well as development tools and methodology
Participate to peer code reviews
Support remote consultants implementing our product at the client site

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent/higher) in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology or Support Engineering (or related field)

Skills

Essential skills (two or more required)

Good knowledge of .Net and/or Java
Good knowledge of front-end web development environment including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, SASS/LESS
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Redux
Experience with Relational, NoSQL and other Database Management Systems such as MariaDB, MySQL, Cassandra, SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
Experience with distributed architectures and messaging protocols
Experience with web design and UX using user-centric principles
Knowledge of software design and software design patterns
Fluent in Bahasa, able to communicate in English effectively, all other languages are a plus
Indonesian nationality is prefered

Desirable skills

Knowledge of Git is an asset
Experience with Swagger is an asset
Experience with Entity Framework is an asset
